Update!

So far in my studies I have created a in depth classroom plan for my film study class. This plan includes an 18 week course studying different genres of film including comedies, horror, westerns, and many more. Through these films students will learn analyze, understand, write, and create films and projects. After their 18 week course they will start their own individual projects creating their own short film on a topic they choose. They will take the steps that all directors take including writing their own screenplay, script, and using creative camera angles to compose their film. At the end of the year the students would present their projects to the school/ class and receive a grade of how well they used the tactics and methods they learned throughout the year. So, far this curriculum/plan is only a work in progress and I will perfect it over time and include a rubric on how each student will be graded. For the upcoming weeks I plan on starting my own screen play for my own film and studying more directors methods in order to include them in my own work.
