Following midterms and my Pecha Kucha presentation I have begun filming and composing my film. I have been primarily thinking of questions that I could ask the students I decide to interview. These questions are focused on how school affects these students' lives and effects their moods. Along with composing questions I have been drafting a storyboard and creating visuals on how I would like to film these students. I would like to create a visually pleasing film with seamless transitions and intriguing ideas. Not only have I been planning my short film/documentary, but I have also been rounding up my sources for my innovations project. By the end of the year everyone in Innovations has to have about 50 sources minimum and right now I have 25 sources. These sources consist of steps to take in order to create a film and also are sources that show me how certain directors use certain techniques to make their own films. For the rest of class today I will create a google forms survey asking which students are interested in being interviewed and documented for my film. Hopefully I can get a good amount of responses and have a wide variety of students to pick from. I am looking for about three or more students from each grade level (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior). I would also like to get students that participate in other activities than school such as work, sports, or clubs. I believe that by getting a wide array of students will lead to some very educational findings. I will hopefully send out my google forms survey by today and get some responses for a general idea of who I can interview.
